Bin and I have been looking for good royalty free music for a while to use for our slide show. In the past, we relied on the few instruments bundled with our slide show software. We both feel strongly that our dear brides and grooms deserve something more classy and romantic. During the past few months, we listened to hundreds of vocals and instruments, and weighed various options by different vendors. Finally last night, we made our final picks, which I now call “Yong Studio Signature Wedding Collection Vol. 1“.

We really would like to use pop music that people sing and hear all the time. Unfortunately, for our small business, there is no practical way to license them. It was kind of a fact to us from day one. Still we discussed the topic on Digital Wedding Forum, with the slightest hope to hear something new. The conclusion is still the same old “no”. Well, we tried.

It was an awesome wedding, and 8 hours went by way too fast. Cathy and Jimmy married at Foothill Christian Center in Los Altos, which is right by the beautiful Rancho San Antonio County Park. They had a huge group of guests coming from Davas/Sacramento area where Jimmy went to school and practice. After the ceremony, we took the wedding party to Stanford campus for group shots, before we rushed to Dolce Hayes Mansion in San Jose for the dinner banquet. Interestingly, each dinner table, instead of assigned a number, is named with a character such as love, patience, forgiveness and so on. The combination of these characters, as the host stated, will strengthen their relationship in marriage. What a great and creative idea! Congratulations to Jimmy and Cathy!
